We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and standard of work from Mat and his team. They were courteous and very tidy in their work. We found Mat to be helpful when advising us on the best approach to re-flooring our conservatory, kitchen and hallways. We ended up with a combination of engineered oak flooring and vinyl and every care was taken to ensure a smooth flow from one section to the next. We commissioned Mat and his team to design, build and install a bespoke storage unit to cover an unsightly gas meter in the hall, and design a usable space with some storage and a show rack.
Mat listened to what we wanted and offered advice and guidance on the best solution.  Upon install he was efficient, hardworking and his craftsmanship second to none.  We are absolutely delighted with the finished result, it looks like it has always been there and is even better than we imagined!
Throughout the whole process Mat was patient, knowledgeable and incredibly personable with the solution designed to fit our needs with our budget in mind the whole time. 
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mat and in fact we will be using him again shortly to design and build a wardrobe for the master bedroom to fit an awkward space.

We are really pleased with the quality of the work Mat and his team have done for us and how
professional, helpful and considerate they have been.
We had an engineered wood floor installed and 12 doors replaced with new solid oak doors. As
well as fitting the doors perfectly, Mat helped us select them and also arranged for them to be
lacquered, so did a lot more for us than we might have expected. There were a few decisions to
make and we felt that Mat's judgement and advice was excellent. We would recommend him and

We are so pleased with the bespoke wardrobe we had built by M. Carter. It was not a simple job as a rather basic rail, shelf and drawers eave storage already existed and we wanted to extend it around a corner adding in two separate height rails; additional shelves; drawers and shoe storage.
In addition to this challenge our house is full throughout most of the day as we home-educate and my husband works from home. We wondered whether such a demanding criteria could be met!
However, we had no cause for concern with either the quality or efficiency, of their work; nor their needing to work around us and our children. Mat and Jason were so polite, scrupulously tidy and thoughtful in the way that they operated inside our home.
